Our Mission
A Cleaner Start for Better Insulation
Our mission is to make insulation upgrades easier by carefully removing insulation that no longer belongs in the space. Whether the material is old, damaged, or needs to come out before new insulation is installed, we assess the area and determine the appropriate removal approach.
Based in Lompoc, 805 Insulation brings 17 years of industry experience to insulation projects. We focus on careful work, clear recommendations, and preparing the area for whatever comes next.
Problems we Solve with Insulation Removal
When Old Insulation Needs to Go
Existing insulation does not always need to be removed, but there are situations where leaving it in place may not be the right approach. Insulation can become damaged, disturbed, deteriorated, or unsuitable for a planned upgrade.
Removing unwanted material also gives the team better access to the area before replacement insulation is installed. Instead of automatically covering existing material, 805 Insulation evaluates its condition and recommends removal when it makes sense for the project.
Our Solution
Professional Insulation Removal and Replacement Preparation
805 Insulation provides insulation removal services based on the conditions of the property and the material being removed. We plan the work carefully, remove the unwanted insulation, and clean the applicable work area so it is ready for the next stage.
For projects involving insulation removal and replacement, we can evaluate what needs to come out before determining the appropriate new insulation solution. This creates a more organized path from old insulation to an updated system.

Benefits of Professional Insulation Removal
Clear Access to the Work Area
Removing old or unwanted insulation provides better access to the space. This allows existing conditions to be seen more clearly before new insulation work begins.
Cleaner Preparation for New Insulation
When removal is needed, clearing out the old material creates a cleaner starting point for replacement insulation and helps prepare the area for the planned installation.
Service Based on Actual Conditions
Not every project requires complete removal. A professional assessment helps determine what should stay, what should be removed, and what the next step should be.

What Our Clients Say About Us
The installers did a fantastic job applying spray foam to our attic space, even during a heat wave! Over the winter, we only had to turn the heat on a hand full of times and our gas usage has gone down significantly, the insulation made such a huge difference.
I hired 805 Insulation to soundproof a studio by blowing insulation into walls. They were easy to work with, available in a timely manner, very reasonably priced and did a great job. Pedro and Jose went above and beyond by moving furniture, cleaning up after the sometimes messy process, dusting and moving the furniture back into place. They left the property in great condition as if they had never been there. I really appreciate the great work by 805 Insulation and would highly recommend their service.
805 Insulation provides a superior product. Yes, they vacuum out 40-year-old blown in Insulation that has lost more than half its Insulation R value. Then instead of just replacing it with batts, they carefully install material around every electrical source that lights your ceiling fixtures. They seal cracks. They also ensure that the vents won't be blocked. Only then do they blow in the new insulation which is similar to pellets. They measure the depth to make sure it's spread equally. As a result, the R value is more than doubled. The new pellet insulation will not pack down over years. For our size attic, this work was done in less than 2 days.Everything was cleaned up. Now our home will be cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
